Yelo Bank – HÖP integration
The direct integration of the Yelo Bank application with the Government Payment Portal — HÖP has made government payments through mobile banking faster, more convenient and more secure.
Bank | Banking and financeProblem
State payments were mainly made through a separate HÖP interface. This required users to leave the mobile banking application, switch to an additional platform and complete the payment in several steps.
When the HÖP user interface was unavailable, it became difficult or temporarily impossible for citizens to make public payments.
For the bank, there was a need for more automated integration to track the status of payments, verify transactions and manage audit data in a single system.
Analysis of payment processes
In the first stage, the process of making state payments in the Yelo Bank application, user steps and technical requirements for data exchange with HÖP were analysed.
All stages up to the selection of the payment service, data entry, confirmation of the operation and presentation of the result to the user were defined.
Based on the results of the analysis, an integration model was formed that allows the implementation of government payments within the mobile application with fewer steps.
Establishing direct integration with HÖP
The Yelo Bank mobile application was directly integrated with the Government Payment Portal. This allows users to make government payments within the bank application without opening a separate HÖP interface.
Payment information is automatically transferred between systems, the transaction is processed securely, and the result is immediately reflected in the mobile application.
Direct integration reduced user steps and made government payments more convenient.
Real-time processing and status tracking
User-initiated payments are approved in a few clicks and processed in real-time.
The status of each transaction is automatically synchronized between systems. Information about successful, pending or incomplete payments is updated in the mobile application and presented to the user.
This mechanism ensured more transparent monitoring of payment results and prompt identification of possible discrepancies.
Automation of audit and transaction history
All payments made through the platform are recorded electronically and stored in the transaction history.
Automatic recording of key data including payment amount, date, service type and transaction status enables full auditability.
This approach reduced manual verification processes, provided more prompt investigation of customer requests and more accurate management of financial transactions.
Technical approach
The integration was built on the principles of secure data exchange, seamless operation and real-time status synchronization.
Payment requests were correctly transferred to HÖP, transaction results were reflected in the banking system, and all information was recorded for audit purposes.
Flexible technical architecture allows for easier integration of new government services and additional payment categories into the Yelo Bank application in the future.
The result of the project
As a result of the integration of Yelo Bank and HÖP, citizens had the opportunity to make government payments faster and more conveniently within the mobile banking application without switching to a separate platform.
Real-time processing of payments and automatic updating of transaction statuses improved the user experience. The electronic monitoring of all transactions and the storage of audit data in the system increased the transparency and security of the processes for the bank.
Direct integration simplified the payment process for users and allowed the bank to improve its operational efficiency.
